Description
A majestic evergreen European species of oak. Foliage is dark green, toothed and very glossy above and downy beneath. Wonderful as an evergreen feature tree, but perhaps even more useful as a hedging option, where it will form a dense and stiff, wind resistant hedge. Grows well in coastal areas. One of the most commonly used oaks for truffle cultivation.
