Description
A very famous, centuries-old Italian selection and arguably the best-tasting hazelnut. Tonda is a vigorous and high-yielding shrub, with medium-sized and round nuts. An excellent pollinator. Suckers should be promptly removed. Multiple varieties of hazelnuts are required to ensure a good crop. We recommend Lewis, TBC and Barcelona.
