Description
From summer to early autumn this herbaceous perennial, native to central China, always stops visitors to Wychwood in their tracks. Its flowering spikes, which edge up to 5′, bear clumps of brilliant and long-lasting white-petalled flowers with a boss of cheery yellow stamens. Dark green lobed foliage provides interest throughout the entire growing season.
