Description
A semi-double form of this blockbuster Chinese perennial. Over a long period in summer ‘Whirlwind’ attracts much in attention to our partly shaded borders at Wychwood. Flowering spikes edge up to 5′ and bear clumps of brilliant and long-lasting white flowers with a boss of yellow stamens. Attractive dark green foliage extends the season of interest.
