Also known as ‘potato onions’, one purchase can give you a lifetime supply of onions. Each bulb planted yields 6-10 more small onions at the end of the season. Save some and use the rest as you would normal brown onions. These onions store exceptionally well. Similar to shallots but a bit larger and have a stronger, more onion-ey flavour.
