Description
A truly magnificent maple. This Chinese native forms a upright, often multi-trunked small tree, with smooth green bark that is dramatically streaked with white, earning it the common name of snakebark maple. Young stems are a rich red. Excellent autumn colour, with leaves turning vibrant shades red, orange and yellow.
