Description
Rarely offered, this Chinese species has neat, upright grassy foliage and numerous stems bearing delicate clusters of hanging pink-purple flowers in late spring. A very garden-worthy Allium, it appreciates a bit of summer water, which makes it a good fit in ornamental borders, since it doesn’t require the bone-dry summer conditions of many species.
