Description
A majestic and stately herbaceous perennial from Europe. Tall spikes bearing large numbers of dramatic blue flowers resembling hooded monks (hence it’s legendary common name). Attractive mid-green palmate foliage. All parts of this plant are poisonous, always wear gloves when handling.
