Description
A larger and more vigorous form of Astrantia major. ‘Shaggy’ produces a clump of deeply divided mid-green foliage from which spring branching stems bearing pincushion flowers in summer. Flowers open with strong pink blushes before turning white with green tipped bracts. Makes a fantastic cut flower and is one of the easiest cultivars around.
